Heat the pan. Add the chopped pineapple and water. Let them cook for 20 minutes on medium flame. Stir frequently, the pineapple should become soft. Add the sugar and lime juice. Let the mixture cook for 30 minutes until the mixture is thickened. Spoon the jam into a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
