Lemon Granita July 1, 2015 Lemon Granita Print Recipe Servings 12+ shooter glasses Servings 12+ shooter glasses Lemon Granita Print Recipe Servings 12+ shooter glasses Servings 12+ shooter glasses Ingredients 1 liter water 150 grams caster sugar 150 ml fresh lemon juice fine zest of 4 lemons Instructions Heat the water and the sugar in a large pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes. Keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add the lemon juice and lemon zest. Cover and let steep for 20 to 30 minutes. Strain the mixture into one plastic container that will fit into your freezer. Let cool to room temperature, cover and freeze until partially frozen, which should take about 2 hours. Take the partially frozen granita out of the freezer every half an hour or so and scrape the surface of the partially frozen granita loose with a fork.
